Clouds are a photographers best friend on the day of a shoot. Rain, is not. Thankfully, for Michael and Josie’s engagement session we had the golden hour of sunrise light followed by a cloudy morning. Josie lives in Atlanta (shout out to my family there) and Michael lives in D.C. (how have I never been there?), they can’t wait to live in the same state after being long distance. They were so much fun and I’m so looking forward to their wedding day. Josie claimed they didn’t know how to do pose for photos but with very little guidance they rocked their shoot.
I love when a couple shares something with me, even as simple as they are excited to live in the same state after the wedding. Marriage is such a special thing and to provide something to couples that allows them to feel all the feels again is such a joy.
The pier is a favorite place of mine for any type of photo and since their wedding will be here as a destination we had to incorporate the beach vibe for a few photos. Then we stopped at Michael’s parent’s home to grab a few pictures on their adorable bikes. But the show stopper photos came from Fort Clinch in my opinion. Which are your favorites? Aren’t they just so sweet?
