Connor and Christy’s wedding day has been long awaited by our group of friends. Once they started dating we knew it was only a matter of time before he put a ring on it and then just a few blinks before they were married. During their engagement, Christy finished college, moved into a new home and added a second job. Connor started a new position at his job this year and was beyond excited to make Christy his wife.
I mentioned in their engagement post just how much we love them – if you didn’t see their engagement photos, you can click here to see them.
Their Wedding Day was exactly what they wanted. No stress and lots of love. When I arrived I knew I was going to be doing Christy’s makeup and then start taking photos. This was my first Amelia Island Wedding at the Oyster Bay Yacht Club and their staff was wonderful. We all knew the timeline and stuck to it as closely as possible with no stress. Christy decided to do a first look with her dad and then brothers. Her little sister was by her side getting phone candid’s throughout the day. There was no rushing or running around and yet the day seemed to fly by.
On our way to the first look, Christy, she handed me her flowers so she could embrace her soon to be husband. That moment was the sweetest and constantly reaffirms my love for first looks. C + C only had eyes for each other all day and it was so precious to see how excited they were to start their new chapter together. Jeff married them and was the hottest pastor I’ve ever seen ;). Then we danced… and danced… and danced. Notice the adorable sign behind their first dance photo below… It was a part of their vows exchanged. Enough chitty chat – Here is a recap of their wedding day!
