She hired Danielle from Detailed I Do’s one of my very favorite Wedding Planners in Atlanta, Georgia. The Foundry at Puritan Mill would be the perfect backdrop and Tulip was hired to do the florals. Oh, she also picked up a killer dress from White Magnolia. Now… she just needed to find her groom.
She found him before planning her wedding, of course. Lauren and Michael had been dating for a few years. They were ready to make everything official and start their married life together. Jeff was with me as my second shooter and I love the photos he snagged by the window at The Foundry of Michael. I’m a sucker for a cloudy day because it typically allows us to go wherever we want without worry of shadows.
Atlanta weddings have the perfect backdrop around every corner. We took the ladies across the street from the hotel against a completely white marble backdrop. Lauren snagged some sensible, but stylish shoe options for her ceremony and reception.
They had a unique idea for their ceremony. They decided to keep the attendance very private and intimate with just bridal party and family. How neat is that? Their friends showed up after photos and celebrated their marriage with a huge party.
Take a look at a few of our favorite photos from the day and share them with a friend who’s getting married. Or take a peek at other weddings, here.
