If you aren’t aware, Amelia Island is a beautiful little place tucked in the Northeastern part of Florida. Nick and Jennie enlisted Nicki to help them plan a destination wedding to celebrate with their closest friends and family. When I work with Collins Korman Events , I know that they will take care of quite literally … everything. As the weekend approached so did a tropical storm and it brought ALL the rain. Thankfully the Omni Amelia Island Plantation has some covered spots that allowed us to still have some natural light for portraits.
Emma Collins Beauty does such a fabulous job on every client and Jennie was absolutely stunning. I was able to say hello to Emma as I started shooting the details and she is always such a joy to see working. She is a master at her craft and I HIGHLY recommend working with her for your wedding, no matter the location because she travels!
CKE worked with Jennie and Nick to set up an interactive centerpiece at the reception and it was so unique. Nicki decided on a charcuterie board and that was mixed in with bud vases and tall floral centerpieces. Paula from The Flower Studio does such stunning work. Her attention to detail always stands out and I loved photographing her work for this Amelia Island wedding. Saturday, the rain may have caused the outside to feel dreary but the reception had the brights colors and all the guests loved being able to pick and snack before dinner was served.
Have fun looking through just a snippet of what Jennie and Nick’s wedding day looked like. I hope you’ll pin/tag/share the beautiful centerpieces so your friends can think outside of the box for their receptions as well! Currently, I still have some openings for 2018 and 2019 weddings.
