Most people know that I live in two places. At least, that is what is feels like most months. Atlanta & Amelia Island are the two places I am constantly bouncing between. So during the fall, all of my “regulars” try to get family photos during one of my crazy brief moments.
The Karschner’s were in town from New York and we’ve missed their family so much. Endless nights on their couch and deciding to spend the night in their guest room after playing Settlers of Catan was how our friendship was built. They introduced Ruby Kate this year and I was excited that I got to meet/photograph this littlest love. We most definitely didn’t check the temperature before getting out of the vehicles but it was worth freezing for twenty minutes to get these beautiful images below.
The Peterson’s were up next and arrived as I was hugging Ashley goodbye. Kassie and I have been friends since high school. We laughed more times than we’ve cried together but we’ve also cried from laughing so hard together. I photographed their wedding and now, getting to photograph their family brings my heart so much joy! Master Grady should not be overlooked… I mean look at this little man.
After I said goodbye to them, The Glovers arrived. Roxy, Shannon and Lexi loved our family while we lived in Dawsonville so well. When I look at their family, I feel like I get a flash into our future with Olivia. Lexi is a beautiful young lady on the inside and outside. I loved catching up with them and only had tears in my eyes once during their first family photo together while thinking of Olivia in ten years! Enjoy each of these sweet family sessions!
