Take a look through the blog for recaps on sessions and weddings. You'll find some personal blogs scattered throughout.
I think the most amazing part of Summer & Paul’s wedding day was knowing the Nutwood Plantation, where they were getting married, once belonged to Paul’s Grandparents or Great Grandparents. There was a family legacy that was already present on the day they decided to commit themselves to one another and I’m not sure if it gets more romantic than that folks. During their engagement session, I realized we would have the most relaxed and enjoyable time together celebrating their marriage. My couples are the best and I don’t take them for granted!
The day goes by so fast and Summer had the best bridesmaids. We had such a great time doing a reveal with them once Summer was in her dress and allowing them all to have a moment to look her over. Before she walked down to do a first look with Paul, she wanted a private moment with her dad. All of these moments are what make a wedding day so much sweeter. Those that are closest to you getting a moment to just say, “Hey, we are here with you.” Wouldn’t you agree?
We did all of the main portraits before the wedding and that allowed them to be a part of their cocktail hour with their guests once the ceremony was over. I call that, WINNING!!
Enough of me talking about their day. Here are some of my favorites from their gallery!
